C.B. Hudson leaving Blue October
This announcement was just posted on the Open Book message board-
After 9 years we regretfully announce that C.B. Hudson is leaving Blue October to pursue other opportunities. We value his contribution to the band and wish him and his family all the best in the future.
Blue October is currently looking for a guitar player.
This is makes me so sad! He will be greatly missed!!! Best of Luck CB!!

Tell me about the lineup switch.
C.B. [Hudson] wanted to be a family man. (I tried to do that once.) We still love him to pieces, he still loves us to pieces; it’s a healthy split.

It shows up as a like if you share the link on FB so I’m assuming that is why there are so many likes. I don’t think any of them actually like the fact that C.B. is leaving.

Bittersweet is all I can think of to say! I am Happy for you in your new adventures but I am sad for those of us that adore you. Your absence will take some getting use to so please keep us “in the know” of your whereabouts cus I’m gonna wanna keep up with you.

Life moves fast, and is so short – do what makes you happy. You have made us (your fans) happy throughout the years, and NO ONE should deny themselves what they truly want or need in their lives…. It was an honor to meet you, buy you a jack and coke, and MANY times to hear you play with MY ALL-TIME, FOREVER FAVORITE band.
